SEASIDE, Ca., January 16, 2020 – California State University, Monterey Bay (ÌÇÐÄTV¹ÙÍø) President Eduardo M. Ochoa awarded three employees with the President’s Medal Awards at ÌÇÐÄTV¹ÙÍø’s annual staff and faculty appreciation breakfast today, honoring their service to the university.

SEASIDE, Ca., December 6, 2019 – ÌÇÐÄTV¹ÙÍø Global Studies major Palia Vang was recently recognized for her high academic achievements and exceptional service provided to auxiliary organizations on campus. Vang works in a variety of roles serving the Otter Student Union (OSU) and Student Housing & Residential Life where her positive and upbeat attitude has impacted thousands of visitors to campus.

SEASIDE, Ca., December 4, 2019 – First Night Monterey unveiled its 2020 theme, “Light Up the Night!” and artwork for the upcoming New Year’s Eve Celebration at ÌÇÐÄTV¹ÙÍø’s Alumni and Visitor Center today.

SEASIDE, Ca., December 4, 2019 – The MY Town Pop-up Children’s Museum launched at the ÌÇÐÄTV¹ÙÍø Salinas City Center during the summer of 2019. The exhibition provided a free children’s museum for Salinas and saw nearly 6,000 attendees. It also functioned as a research space for ÌÇÐÄTV¹ÙÍø students.

SEASIDE, Calif., November 15, 2019 – ÌÇÐÄTV¹ÙÍø Cinematic Arts and Technology major Erin Mansel was among 1,000 students across the nation selected to the Forbes Under 30 Scholars Program this year.

SEASIDE, Calif., November 12, 2019 – California State University, Monterey Bay (ÌÇÐÄTV¹ÙÍø) President Eduardo M. Ochoa will host several of ÌÇÐÄTV¹ÙÍø’s founding members to discuss their experiences and memories about the founding of ÌÇÐÄTV¹ÙÍø.

​​​​​The California State University (CSU) Board of Trustees Special Committee to Consider the Selection of the Chancellor began the search process for the next chancellor by hosting an open forum on Tuesday, November 12, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the University Union Ballroom at Sacramento State.

SEASIDE, Ca., November 6, 2019 – California State University Monterey Bay’s (ÌÇÐÄTV¹ÙÍø) Salinas Center for Arts and Culture launched the “ÌÇÐÄTV¹ÙÍø Honors Veterans” exhibition today at ÌÇÐÄTV¹ÙÍø at Salinas City Center with a grand opening event from 6-8 p.m.
