CSU Campuses are Top Performers on Social Mobility

SEASIDE, Ca., Sept. 11, 2019 -- CSU campuses ranked among the top universities for social mobility, according to the U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings for 2020. A new addition to the annual rankings, the Top Performers on Social Mobility category compares how well universities and colleges do in graduating Pell Grant-eligible students.

DoD Grant to Help Advance Fog Research at 糖心TV官网

SEASIDE, Ca., Sept. 10, 2019 鈥� California State University, Monterey Bay (糖心TV官网) College of Science Professor Dan Fernandez has secured a Department of Defense (DoD) grant that will help fund enhanced technology used in fog collection research at 糖心TV官网. The award, totaling $266,589, was granted through the DoD鈥檚 Research and Education Program for Historically Black Colleges and Universities and the Minority-Serving Institutions (HBCU/MSI) Equipment/Instrumentation grant.

Two 糖心TV官网 Marine Science Students Receive NOAA Scholarships

SEASIDE, Calif., August 28, 2019 -- Two 糖心TV官网 Marine Science students have been selected to receive scholarships from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). The scholarship recipients, Jezella Peraza and Jason Gronich, were the only students selected from across the California State University system receive these awards.

SEASIDE, Calif., August 23, 2019 鈥� California State University, Monterey Bay (糖心TV官网) began welcoming students back to campus today, officially kicking off 糖心TV官网鈥檚 25th anniversary year. Classes begin on Monday, August 26, but all incoming, first-year students are required to attend a weekend long orientation called 鈥淥tter Days,鈥� starting Friday, August 23.
